THE NATIONAL ANTI COUNTERFEITING & PRODUCT
PROTECTION PROGRAMM
( The N-CAPPP )

P R O P O S E D

The National  Anti-Counterfeiting and Product Protection Program (N-CAPPP) is the first and preeminent academic body focusing upon the complex national  issues of anti-counterfeiting and product protection of all products, across all industries, in all markets and strategies to work effectively to detect, deter, and respond to the crime.

  • To begin and expand the dialogue and research of anti-counterfeiting and product protection, the NAPPP serves as a substantive and interdisciplinary research, training, education, and outreach program engaged  in practically discouraging the counterfeiting activities across the country as a trusted partner and organizational home for intersectoral collaborations with industry, government, and other stakeholders concerned with anti-counterfeiting and product protection strategies.

The N-CAPPP:      provides scholarly, analytical, conceptual, and scientific leadership in combating product counterfeiting that         impacts public health and safety, businesses and economies, the environment, and national security.

has a portfolio consisting of high-impact research projects defining the dialogue in academic, corporate and policy circles in areas such as risk, standards, and governance; scale and externalities; consumers; perpetrators; prevention and enforcement; and processes of anti-counterfeiting and product protection.
provides training and technical assistance, learning opportunities, consultations, and facilitation of public/private organizational and collaborative interdisciplinary programs in the emerging area of anti-counterfeit strategy.
focuses upon consumer packaged products in a variety of industries and sectors including, but not limited to, pharmaceutical, healthcare, food, beverage, automobile, and consumer electronics

STARTING OF PILOT PROJECTS:

Water and Soft Drinks are the 2 major products which have a direct impact on public health. With the surge of temperature in summers there is a visible surge of  counterfeit bottled water, drinks and juices  which so far remain un checked due to the poor implementation of legislation and  non existence of effective anti counterfeiting organization.

Feeling the dire need of such a body we have taken the initiative by introducing The  N-CAPPP  which has started its Pilot Project  on  bottles and containers of  Mineral Water, Soft Drinks , Juices and edible oil.

With our initial research we have found that these products are vulnerable due to the easy availability of  post consumer packing materials in good shape which makes counterfeiting very easy and far more profitable. In order to discourage this menace and threat to the public health we suggest that the first step is to nip the bud , that is the containers and bottles should be de shaped right at the  source point so it becomes unserviceable.

HOW WE WORK:

We have a team of volunteers and workers who are trained to de shape such containers with the help of a  handy de shaping device which will be installed at the different locations  in the area. We ensure that no container is left unserviceable. The prime objective is to educate people of all ages how the counterfeiting can be protected and how the public health can be safeguarded.

THE  Concept of 3 R

Reduce – Recycle -  Re Use is the universal phenomena. The N-CAPPP will enlighten the society how this  3 R works. The first stage is also clearly demonstrated at our dedicated locations.

HOW YOU CAN SUPPORT US:

Financial support from all the Sectors is welcomed but its not mandatory , the best way you can support us  is by appreciating our efforts and by providing  us  permission to install this handy de shaping device at all the clubs , institutions , public parks , commercial areas of DHA

YOUR SMALL EFFORT CAN CONTRIBUTE TO PUBLIC HEALTH.
